Meet our founder
Dan Bruce is an expert technology recruitment professional who is based in North Yorkshire. Dan founded North Scout in 2024 to offer something different to organisations across the North, focusing on deep connections and ‘old fashioned values’ to deliver for customers. Throughout his 14-year career, Dan has delivered a broad range of recruitment campaigns, from start-ups making their first external hires to outcome-based projects for global organisations. He is truly passionate about creating an organisation which grows sustainably by putting colleagues first, giving them the platform to reach their potential.
Away from work, Dan spends time playing and (more recently) coaching football, getting outdoors and planning family holidays.
